descriptionRuud Lighting’s American pedigree in exterior lighting, dates back over 25 years, and is now available in Europe. This pedigree is based upon offering modular high quality optic systems, within a range of stylish, architecturally sympathetic housings. The Square EVO system is the most versatile and complete line on the market. The flexible modular system comes in three sizes, Mini, Medi and Maxi for a variety of light sources with powers ranging from 70 up to 2000 watts. With an extensive range of mounting brackets the possible applications are endless. There are 17 optics available for different types of applications. AC & ACM optic - Area Cut-off - has an asymetrical forward-throw reflector, main beam 60 degree in the vertical plane and a wide longitudinal output. The ACM version is a higher performance version, which is characterised by even higher efficiency. VPR optic - Vertical Parking Roadway - has great side to side output and asymmetrical distribution towards the roadway. Tilted position of the lamp holder and the flow recovering device in a central position guarantee high lighting levels and maximum uniformity on both horizontal and vertical planes. QV optic (Dome version only) - Quadrate Vertical has a symmetrical 4 x 70 degree beam and provides great lighting output on all planes. PR optic - Parking Roadway - has great side to side output on both the vertical and longitudinal plane. This is the ideal solution for pole lighting in car park and street applications where it is necessary to have a high level of backlight. SL optic - Side Light - is the solution for lighting narrow streets in historic centres and cycle tracks. It has an extremely low output on the vertical plane and an exceptionally wide lateral beam angle, dissipation very little light on the facades while still hight efficient on the road surface. VFT optic - Vertical Forward Throw - is designed with the lamp tilted to a 20 degree angle compared to the vertical plane, with a external back box allowing appropriate dissipation at higher wattages with an asymmetrical beam of 70 degrees and a wide lateral distribution. Only available in the Maxi version. QH optic - Quadrate Horizontal - has a wide asymmetrical street beam on principal planes and is particularly suitable for lighting roads from the centre of the roadway using limited height supports and medium-wide space ratios. QV optic - Quadrant Vertical - has a symmetrical square beam and provides lighting output on all planes. Ideal to increase pole spacing maintaining a uniform light distribtution. Especially suitable for centrally positioned columns in roadways and covered car park applications thanks to the possibility of ceiling mounting. Also available in Square High Mast version in: ACM(Area Cut-off) : CF(Cut-off Flood) : CN(Narrow Beam Cut-off) : PN(Parabolic Narrow) |
