The ALNWICK range of special vandal resistant recessed cell luminaires is suitable for wall or ceiling mounting. The unique design ensures that all versions are virtually unbreakable and are therefore suited to highly volatile areas where vandalism is prevalent. Such areas could be:

• Police or Prison cells
• Bedrooms in secure institutions
• Highly volatile public areas
• Prison corridors

The ALNWICK range of luminaires is extremely vandal resistant. The body is made from sheet steel, phosphate coated and EPC painted in white as standard. The phosphate coating carries a 5 year conditional guarantee against rust. 

The diffuser is made from opal polycarbonate, which is virtually indestructible. The diffuser is held into a welded steel frame and is Gasketted to prevent ingress of both water and dust to IP54. The geartray is removable and also acts as a reflector. It is made from mild steel and finished with an EPC coat in white.  

All luminaires in this range are designed to comply with BS EN 60598 and are suitable for operating in interior and exterior applications. Each luminaire also complies with European Directive 89/336/EEC and carries the CE mark. 

Available in 2x18W and 2x24w PL-L. Integral 4w T5 night light versions can be supplied.
